Race Caps (3 Pack) is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from High-Flow-valve Race Caps The high-flow valve cap does not have a positive cut-off the way the push-pull cap does. This means any time the bottle is sucked or squeezed, fluid will come out, without having to open anything. Conceptually, this is convenient, and the flow rate is awesome. Unfortunately, this can be bad news if you have filled your bottles to put them into your drop bags for ultraruns (or triathlons or adventure events). If the bottles come under any pressure in transport to the aid stations, fluids will spurt out and soak other gear in the drop bag. I like the 18-oz bottles as they give me extra capacity in the Fire-Ball vest, which I love, but I have bought old-style push-pull caps to replace the new style caps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad I have the SpeedDraw Plus Insulated Flask, and the replacement race caps do not seal well, they dripping water (all 3).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have These are great accessories - flow rate is awesome, and easy to use. sure, my max distance is full or half, but worked perfectly. I liked so much I bought extras and replaced all of spare bottles. These are made with non-dish wash safe material, so do not ever put them in the dish washer!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst cap EVER! I have used a Nathan flask handheld bottle in the past and really liked it. Note: that bottle had the cap where you had to pull or push on it. So, I bought two new similar handheld bottles. Without a choice, I was given the absolute WORST bottle CAPS EVER. My first discovery of how terrible they are (and it was the 3rd time I used it) was at the start of a 50K Ultra. I didn’t understand why my right glove was soaking wet. After realizing it was from the bottle somehow, I stopped running to address the issue since I had 350 calories of fuel in that bottle which early in the race had lost more than 1/4 of it and I hadn’t consumed any yet. So, like I said, I stopped running. Examined it. Untwisted it. Retaliated it on. Shook it. And my fuel was leaking all over the place. Why??? Because of the poorly designed cap that was meant for easy access for a sip. The small little tube liner was jacked up and you need tweezers to fix it. No, I didn’t carry tweezers as on this 50K. I drank ask much as I could stomach which was not the plan. I planned on PRing that race but my nutrition plan the rest of the day was a disaster because of that horribly designed cap. I finished the race no thanks to Nathan. I had another new Nathan handheld. Same ridiculous cap but not the same one from the 50K. Fast forward one month later and I am PRing a 10 miler and the cap causes massive leaking. I go to the website to find a phone # for customer service to explain how sad their cap is. Couldn’t find a contact #. So, I am trying to warn the masses...Stay Away from this cap. Now I am forced to buy the push/pull cap that actually doesn’t spill all over the place. So, I get to spend probably another $15-16 for a couple new caps. I would just try and different bottle but I actually really like their handheld bottles. This cap is a major fail.
