VaporAir Men's Hydration Backpack is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vapor Air I purchased the Vapor Air vest and have been running with it for about a year now, and done numerous ultra distance races and long training runs. This vest has been with me through all of it and held up great. I have been able to go self supported for over 11 hours in the mountains with this vest carrying all my food, water, electrolytes, and extra clothing. It has been a solid piece of equipment I depend on and trust. The vest itself is great. The bladder has held up wonderfully. My only concern has been the quick connect valve. Keep the o-ringlubricated and only connected when using. It has a tendency to be hard to remove. If you are looking for a vest that will work with you on those long training runs or tackling a long race, I would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's everything I wanted I wanted a versatile pack to accompany me on ultras and obstacle course races. 1 obstacle race in, and this is performing great. Bottle vests would be unacceptable because of how they can get in the way of scaling walls and carrying things, so I wanted a light weight pack with a reservoir and accessible pockets. Some competing companies had comfortable packs, but they lacked one or more things - a large zipper compartment, small zipper pockets on the front or sides, or bottle holders on the chest. I've done a training run with some water and some sports drink between bottles and reservoir. I really like that versatility and plan to do that for trail races. This is my first hydration pack, so I don't have much to compare to, but I know there are many models I would be unhappy with and don't know what would make one better than the vaporair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Pack......except Its been a great pack but the zippers started freezing a year ago and i tried to prolong the life with some lube, but they kept going down hill. Then the cords broke because zippers froze. Next i added new string loops and got a few more weeks out of the zippers until the cords came off or just bent the metal hook. Displeased my 150 dollar pack cant be used correctly anymore. None of my gregory backpacking bags or my northface travel bags have issue, so why does this?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from MINOR concerns I like the vest and how light it is. However, I have a couple of issues/concerns. First, the side pockets are somewhat uncomfortable to access and I find that the material doesn't give as much as I had anticipated. Even the front compartments --flask pockets and those in front of it-- don't really open as wide as I'd like them. There may be a reason for this but the way I see it, it shouldn't be this way especially since the suggested flasks that go in front are not the soft flasks and would make accessing those pockets harder (I got soft flasks). Also, I was not aware that the top of it was not sealed in some fashion. I haven't had to run with it in rain, but I am concerned of what would happen to any clothing that I choose to carry - it's not a waterproof vest. Perhaps this can added to the next model? Overall, the vest is great. It's light and comfortable and fits how I hoped. I like it to be tight on me to make sure it doesn't move at all --the movement is VERY minimal with just the bladder filled to the brim. So, the pockets and the top opening are my only dislikes(?) of the vest but I am pleased with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Newbie Turned Raving Fan I’m totally new to trail running and long distance mileage and desperately needed a pro-level water storage solution. The Vapor Air nailed it and completely surpassed any expectations I had. I wasn’t sure it would fit right, would actually hold the bladder still and would fit all of my extra items. You guys have thought of everything. Well done!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vapor air hydration pack. I only recently got into running greater distances than 5ks. I was informed Nathan products were the best and after my purchase I see why. I placed second in my first half marathon in the men's division 20-29. I believe it was partly because the hydration pack allowed me to blow past the aid stations and stay focused on getting across the finish line. I'm scheduled for larger runs in the future and plan to be a practicing ultra runner and I'll be a Nathan's fan so long as the quality stays the way it has.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Hydration Backpack Rocks My Face The first time I used my Hydration Backpack I began at 6,400 ft and ascended up to 13,000 ft of Pikes Peak (unfortunately not able to summit due to weather). I had enough water and plenty of storage for food to get me all the way back to my car. The fit is great, and the run was stable. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking to go on a longer run through more rugged terrain!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The answer to my needs I’m new to distance running. Have been slowly gearing up to meet my hydration needs. Im 6’0 and 203 lbs. The L/XL fits very well. I’m able load up and secure the vest so it doesn’t bounce when I’m running. I really enjoy the storage options on this too. This model design was definitely designed well. Great work team!
