Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's perfect except the bottle leaks. First, the waist pack itself is nearly perfect. It's featherlight, comfortable and easy to tighten down. The pockets are a great size for gels and the zippered pocket fits my phone well. Even getting the bottle in and out was not hard. Wearing the bottle full to empty was comfortable and didn't rub. However, the kid is leaking slowly. I was extremely careful that it was threaded correctly, it was. I don't know if it still leaked or came out of the bite valve. But by the end of my 8 miles my shorts were wet. We all know what wet shorts mean. Butt chafing. No one wants that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wrong size I just purchased the VaporKrar at the Seattle marathon expo this past weekend. The sales person told me I should be XXS/XS because that was the size that fit most women. I took her word for it, but unfortunately I can't get the belt over my hips! I need a S/M and am hoping that an exchange might be possible, because overall, I like the design of the belt and the concept of a step through bottle holder. Pocket can hold my phone and the bottle design is unique. Hoping I can exchange the one I bought for a larger size.... Ladies, try on the belt before you purchase it. The waist size in the size chart neglects to say that you'll need a little bit more room to get it over your hips!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid piece Normally I can't wear waist belts cause I have no butt to hold them up, but this one suprisingly works for me. Use it for daily runs with the dog so we both get hydration, with my phone and keys in the front pocket. Side pockets are perfect for easy access items like nutrition or poop bags. Have used this in addition to a vest on long runs when there are no water refills and being able to have an extra bottle is key. Down hill with a full 18 oz bottle can get a lil bouncy but not enough to affect my stride. Bottle goes in and out easily. Works even better with a 12 oz soft flask when an 18 oz bottle isn't necessary.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Amazing Waist Pak, leaky bottle I love the waist pack. I've used it for a 40-mile solo run (stopping to grab nutrition elsewhere), plenty of training runs, and will be using it for an upcoming 50-miler. I love the pak. It fits well, I can cinch it down without it having pressure on my guts and causing GI issues, it fits my iPhone with the case as well as keys and ID in the zip while holding gels and goodies in the side pockets. The materials are wonderful, and I can forget that it's there. Yes, it really does disappear that well! The bottle that comes with this is a different story. As another reviewer noted, this bottle leaks. It's not a bad leak, but because the neck of the bottle is flexible, any pressure that causes it to change shape (whether you're squeezing it or it is in the back pocket of the pack) means the seal with the screw-on lid is compromised. This is particularly an issue when the bottle is full. Once a few ounces are gone, the seal seems to be better, but still an issue. When it's just water, this is ok but don't put any electrolyte or sugary drink in this or your hands, back, and wherever else it leaks will be sticky! 5 stars for the pak, but only 2 for the bottle = 3 overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this! Seriously I have hated every other water holder I've used...they chafe or bounce or are too hot or generally irritating. This one I don't even notice it is on...it has space for lots of nutrition and electrolytes and a zipped pouch for keys and tiny stuff that could otherwise slip out (e.g., electrolyte tabs). It's easy to refill at aid stations. The bottle is easy to pull in and out of the back pouch (it only leaks if I get the valve pushed against a side when replacing it or don't thread it right). I am ordering another one in case they stop making it because I like it that much!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Product is Better than you can Imagine! I purchased this product at Cadillac Mountain Sports in Ellsworth, ME after seeing some online reviews. So I throw my iPhone 7 Plus into this and my keys and they absolutely disappear! I was blown away. I run about 40 miles a week and this just gives me an easy way to carry my phone and keys while simultaneously convincing me I actually don't have them. :-O I have not tried the bottle. I don't write a lot of online reviews, but this product is the real deal. No chaffing in long runs, speed work etc. Dream come true for those who want to carry their phone and extra accessories.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from vaporkrar this waist pak is great!! i had been attempting to find something to get my hydration and take-along fitness needs off of my back and out of my hands. other solutions, zippers would open, leaving a trail of thingies to return and collect, or the nuisance of having something in my hands. very nice materials and constructions, the bite valve bottle is terrific with no problems accessing, it also stays put. my improvement for it, would be adding something to attach a light to it, and i wonder if i would prefer zippers on the side pockets, though the accessibility is nice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a fan just yet. I love Nathan products but this one needs some refinement. First, I'm around a 34" waist and because they only have two size, I went with a L/XL. It's sloppy when running. Next, the water bottle holder in the rear is tough to get the flask in when running, especially when you are wet from sweating. Lastly, when the water flask is full, the water bottle leaks from the pressure. Maybe if the size was right, I would work through the issues. I do think you are going to see these waistpaks become a trend. Also, I was thinking of using it on a 50K trail race but didn't have a place for my trekking poles to store after climbing. I notice that Hoka has a $80 waistpak with trekking pole straps "made by Nathan" that looked pretty sweet.
